Shepardstown, West Virginia

What a great training ride in 90 degree heat today. Our rest stop in Bakerton, West Virginia, offered cold drinks and a cool down period during the ride. Only 28 miles but hills kept coming and in the heat even this ride was draining.  The Shepardstown weekend is sponsored by the Wednesday Irregulars bike club.  Not only do we cycle three days, we dine and lunch together and participate in the annual Contemporary American Theater Festival.
