Our objective of the day was to take the light rail to Minnehaha Falls and hike along the Mississippi. Ziva and I could not resist renting a surrey bike and cycling along the perimeter of the park and over the Mississippi. The city has a fantastic park system surrounding many lakes. Homes are usually within a short radius of the parks so that the community can feel a sense of place and a sense of belonging.
