Saturday, July 13 - destination Northfield, MN

All night long it stormed in St. Paul and I feared cycling in the rain on the first official day of our trip. By 8 a.m rain stopped and the clouds followed us all the way to St. Olaf College but never a drop of rain. However, strong headwinds of 20 mph did hinder our progress. In addition, our cue sheet had over 50 turns for only a 40 mile trip and most of those turns were confusing on the trails.

Bike stands are numerous in all the areas we have traveled but I loved this bike stand best with the symbol of the college in the wheel.
