It is so beautiful outside and all I want to do is cycle. However, I'll have all summer to cycle. I have an order for 24 bar and bat mitzvah figures. It's fun completing one or two, watching these figures come to life, but 24 is tedious. I just always keep thinking how the recipients of these special gifts feel when they receive a figure representing their special day.
Finally finished letter about my ride, figured out how to have friends comment on the blog, and now all I need to do is fold and stuff the envelopes. Perhaps next year I will try e-mail instead.
I am cycling across country to raise money for research to combat Leukemia & Lymphoma as well as Parkinson's Disease.
Martin is learning to read and interpret a recipe in preparation for survival when I am away all summer. He's making brocolli soup in our new Vita- Mix machine. Maybe, after all this training, he will find it easier to go to Trader Joe's.
