July 23 - On our way to Rockford, MI

Leaving Muskegon we passed the harbor and I couldn't resist stopping for another photo.

Today's route is on the Musketawa and White Pine State Trail. Unlike other days, finding these trails along our 53 mile route was no problem. On the sides of the trails we found wild flowers, lots of snake grass, and even a lone apple tree. Ziva made a bouquet of flowers from a collection of six varieties for this photograph. The most picturesque site was the "tunnel of trees". These tall trees are searching for sunlight and as a result become inter-connected.
