July 23 - Continuing to Rockford

Along the White Pine State Trail we spotted these wood- carved sculptures. The artist is unknown but he or she must have had a great sense of humor.

I wandered the streets of the quaint town of Rockford while others indulged in cake at Arnie's. Even though I would not eat a hot dog, I laughed at the name of this store. The name made sense after I realized that the real "dam" was across the street in the park!
