July 22 - Last trip to the water front

This morning we had extra time before biking to the ferry to cross Lake Michigan into Michigan. Margaret thought it would be extra special to actually see the opening of the "wings" of the art museum and it was spectacular. Yesterday I showed the photo of the opened "wings" and today one can see the closed wings.

Orange seems to be the color of the day. Our bright orange shirts from Bike Across America attracted attention from bystanders. I fell in love with the orange steel sculpture by Mark di Suveri titled "The Calling" in front of the art museum.
