July 19 - End of a Perfect Day Off

The culinary art of the French Canadians and the quaint atmosphere of the village of Tadoussac is unique.  The graphic on the shopping bag pictures the laissez fair atmosphere that I love.

If the photo of the hotel in Tadoussac looks familiar, you are correct. This hotel was the location in the film Hotel New Hampshire, based upon the book by John Irving in 1981. What you cannot see is the rows of white picket lounge chairs. I'll bet that those chairs are the perfect spot to not only relax but to spot whales along the Sagueney.
