July 17 - On our way to Tadoussac

Bikes and riders were transported as promised using Ken's Excursion. Bikes were taken apart, riders and gear stuffed inside. The transport took three trips and as a result we didn't start cycling until 9 a.m.

The ride was one of the most beautiful days of the trip - high cliffs, flowing rivers, waterfalls. The terrain was still hilly but we had a 25 mile section with the wind on our backs and it felt as if we were flying. To my surprise, my odometer registered 44 mph on the downhill.

After days of hill climbing, we figured out the approaching stretches of hills by the highway sign. By the time we spotted The Route to the Whales sign, we knew we were not far from Tadoussac.
