Along the Eric Canal

Finally reaching Baldwinsville on the Erie Canal at Lock 24, I spotted The Red Mill Inn. I didn't know the history of the Inn where we were staying tonight until I saw the mural in the town and spotted the red building. The mill dates back 180 years and was an operating mill until 2004. The original wood beams and posts remain the structural foundation of the renovated Red Mill Inn. Again, a piece of history has been preserved.
